Foundations
Before you build
These chapters explain how to navigate the dashboard and which decisions to make before publishing.
Overview6 min
User dashboard map
The user dashboard is split into operational areas. Knowing where to go prevents random edits and makes it easier to diagnose problems.
Steps
Deeplinks is the core area: here you create, edit, duplicate, group, activate, or deactivate public pages.
Domains is used to connect a personal domain and assign it to the correct page once the DNS is ready.
Statistics shows visits, visitors, clicks, CTR, social sources, countries, devices, browsers, and filtered traffic such as bots.
Profile manages personal data, verified email, password, and account deletion.
Plan shows your current plan, limits, available features, upgrades, custom requests, and the client portal when available.
Contact us collects support requests with description, context, and useful attachments.
Practical rule
If the problem concerns the public link, start from Deeplinks; if it concerns your domain URL, start from Domains; if it concerns the numbers, start from Statistics.
Before asking for support
Note the page involved, domain, browser, device, time, and the action you were taking.
Checklist
Account email verified.
Plan compatible with the features you want to use.
Page active and not only saved as an operational draft.
Link tested outside the dashboard session.
Result
You have a clear mental map: you know which area to open based on the type of change or check.
Initial setup8 min
Initial checklist after login
Before creating campaigns or connecting domains, complete these checks. They are the ones that most often block saves or publishing.
Steps
Open Profile and check that the email is marked as verified. If you see a warning, complete the verification before creating important pages.
Open Plan and review the page limit and included features: the Starter plan allows only one active page and blocks premium advanced features.
Choose a primary handle that is short, readable, and consistent with your brand or social profile.
Prepare destinations, button titles, socials, and images in advance: the editor becomes much faster.
Choose between Landing, Direct link and Chat. The type determines the visitor’s experience; check which options your plan includes.
After the first save, open the link from an incognito window or from a phone that is not logged in.
When the email is not verified
The dashboard may prevent creation, editing, or access to sensitive features. Verifying the email is the first check to perform.
When the limit is reached
If the plan allows only one active page, creating or activating another one may deactivate previous pages or show restrictions.
Checklist
Verified email.
Handle chosen.
Destinations with https ready.
Light images suitable for mobile.
Plan checked before enabling advanced features.
Result
You can create the page without stopping because of limits, missing data, or account blocks.
Decision7 min
Choose between Landing, Direct link and Chat
GetMyPage offers three page types: Landing with content and buttons, Direct link for an immediate redirect, and Chat for an automated conversation before the main link.
Steps
Use a landing page if you need to show multiple buttons, profile, socials, gallery, badges, online status, followers, or different contents.
Use a direct link if the goal is to send the visitor to one destination and an intermediate page is not needed.
Choose Chat to welcome visitors with a configurable automated conversation that leads to one main link. It requires a compatible plan and is not included in Starter.
If you run a targeted campaign, the direct link can be faster, but it must be tested more carefully on social apps and webviews.
For sensitive content or flows involving social bots, review the security settings before publishing.
If you are unsure, start with a landing page: you can always simplify the order and number of buttons.
Landing page
It is the most flexible choice: it contains identity, context, socials, and multiple links.
Direct
It is the most straightforward choice: it reduces steps but requires the right destination and coherent protections.
Chat
An AI-powered conversation with profile, writing style and invitation settings. It uses one main link; the dedicated Chat guide explains all three settings tabs.
Checklist
Multiple destinations: landing page.
One destination only: direct link.
Automated conversation before the main link: Chat, with a compatible plan.
You want statistics for multiple buttons: landing page.
You want to measure a specific campaign: tracking link or a dedicated direct link.
Result
The chosen structure matches the behavior you want from the visitor.
Quality9 min
Publish and test without distorting results
A link is not ready just because it is saved. It must be tested the way a real visitor will open it and distinguished from the automatic traffic generated by social platforms.
Steps
Open the public link from an incognito window, then from your phone. Check the first load, text, buttons, and readability.
For Landing, test the first button; for Direct link, check the redirect; for Chat, send a message and test the invitation button when it appears.
Send the link to yourself on the social platform where you will use it. Social apps may open webviews that differ from a normal browser.
Do not judge the statistics immediately after pasting the link on social platforms: they can generate previews and automatic scans.
If you enabled Real-Safe Link, GeoFilter, or external tracking, test again after every change.
If something seems blocked, also try from a different network or browser before changing settings.
Proper test
Use the real visitor path: social app, phone, published link, and not only the dashboard.
Early data
The first openings may include automatic checks. Evaluate trends and clicks, not just the first visit.
Checklist
Page loads for anonymous users.
Buttons open the correct destinations.
Mobile view is readable without cut-off text.
Statistics reviewed after a sufficient interval.
Advanced settings retested after every save.
Result
The link is ready to be published and you can distinguish a real test from automatic checks.
Deeplinks, Landing and Chat
Build complete pages
The complete workflow for creating, configuring and organizing Landing pages, Direct links and Chat pages.
Deeplinks10 min
Create a deeplink from scratch
The deeplink is the main object: it contains the handle, page type, destination, status, settings, and analytics connections.
Steps
Open Deeplinks and click New deeplink. If you are sent back to the list, check your email verification and plan limit.
Choose a clean handle: short, readable, without spaces, and consistent with your profile or campaign.
Select the type: Landing for multiple links and content, Direct link for a redirect, or Chat for an automated conversation with one main link. Check that your plan includes the chosen type.
Fill in the public title. It should stay recognizable even when the visitor arrives from a social preview.
Enter full destinations with https and check that they are not temporary or private links.
Save, return to the list, and verify the status, public URL, available actions, and external opening.
Handle
It is the address users see. Changing it after publishing can break links that have already been shared.
Type
Landing displays content and buttons; Direct link opens one destination; Chat offers a configurable automated conversation. Starter does not include Chat.
Status
Use inactive when you are preparing a page but do not want it to be publicly reachable yet.
Checklist
Final handle before sharing.
URLs use https.
Public title is clear.
Status is active only when ready.
Test from a browser without login.
Avoid
Changing the handle during a campaign.
Using shortened URLs when they are unnecessary.
Publishing a page without testing it on a phone.
Result
You have a saved deeplink, active only when you decide, ready to be refined or shared.
Chat mode12 min
Create and configure a Chat page
A Chat page welcomes visitors with an AI-powered automated conversation and guides them towards one main link. This guide covers setup, plan limits and the checks to perform before publishing.
Steps
Check that your plan includes Chat mode: it is available with Creator and Agency, as well as compatible custom plans. Starter does not include it; the tooltip on the locked option explains the restriction.
Open Deeplinks and create a page or edit an existing one. Select Chat: Page style becomes Chat settings, with three tabs.
Set the handle, page name and one complete main link using https. When switching from a Landing with several buttons, check which destination remains before saving: Chat does not keep a Landing-style link list.
In Profile and photos, enter the display name, an age of at least 18, personality, interests and confirmed facts. Use information you can verify and upload the profile avatar.
To enable archive photos, upload up to 6 images you have permission to use and add short, accurate descriptions. Wait for checks and uploads to finish.
In Writing style, choose capitalization, punctuation, length and the number of bubbles per reply. Adjust emojis, nicknames, question frequency, signature phrases and words to avoid.
In Behavior and invitation, set the conversation tone and link invitation. CTA means call-to-action button: configure its label, tone, timing and the value from 4 to 10 in the Show the CTA by turn field.
Save and check the status in the Deeplinks list. Publish when the page is ready; if you use a custom domain, verify that it is active and linked to the correct page.
Open the public link outside your dashboard session. Write a message, try sending two messages consecutively, wait for the reply and check that the final button opens the intended destination.
Repeat the test on a phone and from the social app where you will share the link. Also test the visitor’s language and a photo request if you have configured the archive.
Three tabs, three purposes
Profile and photos defines identity and available material; Writing style controls how replies are worded; Behavior and invitation controls tone and the link offer. Use the arrows to move between tabs.
Public Chat and support
The public-page conversation can be complemented with manual replies through Manage chats in Analytics. GetMyPage’s support Live Chat remains a separate service.
Automatic language
The interface uses the device language: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese or Brazilian Portuguese; other languages fall back to English. Spoken languages describes the profile and does not set the interface language.
Waiting, sending and check marks
Automatic replies appear after variable pauses. Visitors can send consecutive messages; after sending, the field loses focus so the mobile keyboard can close. Check marks reflect automatic handling or the team viewing the conversation; they do not identify the individual using the profile.
Link and conversation length
The invitation appears as a button inside a reply and opens the configured main link. The editor’s limit concerns turns and automated replies: it is not a duration in minutes or a number of messages the visitor must send.
Archive photos
Uploads are moderated. The chat can send one archive photo per conversation when the visitor requests one, and labels it as archived material. It is not a public gallery or a photo taken live.
Plan changes and downgrades
On a downgrade to Starter, incompatible Chat pages are deactivated and their configuration is preserved. A compatible plan is required to keep saving and using them as Chat; alternatively, explicitly choose Landing and review content and permitted features before saving.
Opening from social apps
Safari and Instagram’s in-app browser may follow different paths. With Deeplinks Tech enabled, Instagram on iOS may first show the external-browser handoff. Test the whole journey, not only the editor preview.
If something does not work
If Chat is locked, check the plan. If the page will not open, check its status, domain and filters. For missing replies or media, note the public URL, time, device, browser and social app; compare with a regular browser and send those details to support.
Checklist
Compatible plan and active page.
One main link, tested through to its destination.
Accurate profile and correct avatar.
Authorized photos and completed uploads.
Tone, language and invitation checked as a visitor.
Tested on a phone and from the social apps actually used.
Avoid
Confusing page conversations with GetMyPage’s support Live Chat.
Promising fixed response times or live photos.
Saving a conversion from Landing without checking the remaining link.
Result
You have a configured Chat page, an automatically localized visitor interface and a tested path to the main link.
Chat and analytics8 min
Analytics and manual chat management
Measure your Chat page’s effectiveness and reply to visitors from the same Analytics page. The bot keeps working while you send manual messages: only Stop bot and Start bot change its state.
Steps
Open your Chat page’s Analytics from the Deeplinks list. Visits and Click retain their usual charts, filters, period and timezone; Click also includes the main link and social links.
In Click, read Chat effectiveness: conversations started, conversations with a click, clicks on displayed CTAs and time to first click. Compare visitor messages, bot replies and exchanges for bot-only, manual-only and mixed conversations.
In Summary, below the traffic-source notice, select Manage chats. Each entry shows the source social network and language. Scrolling to the bottom loads more conversations automatically; on a phone, use the back arrow to return to the list.
Write your message and select Send, or use Send CTA to offer the main link. Opening the modal, reading and sending manual replies do not stop the bot.
Use Stop bot in the selected conversation to pause automatic replies, including those still queued. Start bot resumes with the visitor’s next message, without sending a backlog of replies to earlier messages.
Check message states and permissions before assigning management to a teammate or integration. Visitors need to keep the page open, or return with the same session, to receive new messages.
Reading effectiveness
Calculations cover conversations started in the selected period and the first click on the main CTA before the period ends. Times and counts are medians. Later clicks do not change the first-click data; three bot bubbles are not three exchanges. Social clicks remain separate from the main CTA.
History and missing data
Detailed metrics cover new conversations compatible with the updated tracking. The panel shows when data became available: missing data from earlier conversations are not turned into zeros. Test and production remain separate.
Team and API Key permissions
Creating, editing, deleting and viewing analytics for Chat pages use existing page permissions. Conversations require separate pages:chat:read, pages:chat:reply and pages:chat:control permissions. Replying or controlling the bot also requires read access. Permissions and assigned pages apply to both the dashboard and APIs; existing keys and teammates do not receive new access automatically. Deleting a conversation requires pages:chat:delete and pages:chat:read.
Conversation API
With an enabled API Key, the base path is /api/v1/chat-pages/{slug}. GET /metrics reads the dedicated data; GET /conversations and GET /conversations/{id} read history. POST /conversations/{id}/messages sends text with a unique requestId, reused when retrying the same request; cta: true adds the button. POST /conversations/{id}/bot uses enabled and the conversation’s controlVersion as the version field. DELETE /conversations/{id} deletes the conversation and all its messages.
Delivery, downgrade and deletion
Sent means saved, Delivered to the browser indicates receipt in the interface, and Viewed in the browser means the message entered the visible area. After an incompatible downgrade, history remains readable but sending and bot controls are blocked. Renaming preserves history; duplicating does not copy chats. Deleting the page or account also deletes Chat data, even if the page was converted to Landing or Direct link. Replies show one check when sent, two grey checks when delivered and two blue checks when viewed. The X on each entry opens a confirmation to permanently delete the conversation.
Delete individual messages
Only manual and bot messages can be deleted, not visitors’ messages. The X on a message opens a confirmation to delete only that message, including from the visitor’s chat. Other messages, the conversation and historical visit and click statistics remain unchanged. Both pages:chat:read and pages:chat:delete are required, including for teams and API Keys. The endpoint is DELETE /api/v1/chat-pages/{slug}/conversations/{id}/messages/{messageId}. This cannot be undone.
Checklist
Correct period and timezone.
First main-link click distinguished from social clicks.
Bot state checked for the individual conversation.
Read, reply and control permissions granted only to the necessary people and keys.
Result
You can measure what leads to a click and complement the bot with manual replies while keeping access and environments separate.
Landing12 min
Fill in profile, bio, and socials
The top section of the landing page decides whether the visitor immediately understands where they are. Keep identity, bio, and socials essential.
Steps
Set the page name and a short bio. The name should confirm the brand or profile; the bio should explain what the visitor will find.
Add only the socials that are truly active. A few reliable links are better than a row of empty or outdated icons.
Use badges, online status, location, followers, and a custom icon only when they add trust or real context.
If you add follower counts, check the label, username, number, avatar, and profile link for each social network.
If you use sensitive content, keep texts and media aligned with the rules of the channel where you will publish the link.
Read the page again like a new visitor: it should be clear who you are and what the first step is.
Socials
Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Telegram, X, and other channels should confirm identity or offer an alternative path.
Display
Badges, online status, location, and followers are visual signals: useful when they strengthen credibility, useless when they distract.
Custom icon
If your plan allows it, a custom icon helps make the page easier to recognize.
Checklist
Name is readable on mobile.
Bio is controlled and free of ambiguous wording.
Socials are active and verified.
Follower data matches the profile.
Display elements are not excessive.
Result
The landing page has a clear identity and does not look like a random collection of buttons.
Buttons14 min
Configure landing page links
Buttons are the most important part: name, order, icon, destination, and behavior must guide the visitor without doubt.
Steps
Create one button for each real action. Avoid duplicates with different names but the same destination unless you are measuring a variant.
Write clear labels: the visitor should know what happens before clicking.
Order the buttons by business or narrative priority. The main link goes first.
Choose the icon and button style for recognition, not decoration.
Use animations, responses, and promotions only on links that need attention: too many micro-interactions reduce trust.
If a destination requires protection, evaluate safe or force safe on the single link.
Tracking
You can attach tracking to links when you want to understand which button receives clicks and which campaign brings the traffic.
Adult or sensitive content
Sensitive destinations should be marked and protected consistently, avoiding previews or steps that do not fit the social channel.
Order
The first link should be the one you truly want the visitor to click, not the most decorative one.
Checklist
Each button has one purpose.
Destinations are tested.
The first link is the most important.
Animations are used sparingly.
Safe mode is evaluated on sensitive links.
Avoid
Labels like click here without context.
Five buttons with the same visual priority.
Destinations that are not accessible on mobile.
Result
The landing page leads the visitor toward the desired action and makes click data easier to read.
Design13 min
Page style, media, and gallery
Style should support content and conversion. A beautiful page that is hard to read loses clicks.
Steps
Set structure and text first, then choose colors and media. Doing the opposite almost always leads to a confusing page.
Choose the background, font, and text color with enough contrast. Check especially light photos with light text.
Use avatar and banner when they help identify the profile. If an image is heavy or badly cropped, it harms the first load.
Enable the gallery only if the images add value to the visitor's decision.
Align button shape, outline, icon color, and text color with the rest of the page.
Check mobile: no text should overflow and no media should cover the first button.
Media
Background, avatar, banner, and gallery should load quickly and remain readable on small screens.
Colors
Use real contrast. If the button looks good but the text is hard to read, it needs to change.
Consistency
One visual direction is enough: do not mix fonts, gradients, outlines, and animations without a purpose.
Checklist
Contrast is verified.
The first button is above the mobile fold when possible.
Images are not blurry or too heavy.
Gallery is active only when useful.
Style is coherent with the traffic channel.
Result
The page looks polished, loads well, and does not sacrifice clicks and readability for decoration.
Management11 min
Groups, status, duplication, and deletion
As pages, clients, or campaigns grow, the Deeplinks list must remain manageable.
Steps
Create groups for a client, campaign, profile, or project. The group should help you find pages, not just decorate the list.
Use notes to remember the page goal, audience, channel, or deadline.
Duplicate when you want a variant with a similar base. After duplication, change the handle, title, and destinations before publishing.
Deactivate a page when it should no longer receive traffic but you still want to keep its structure or operating history.
Delete only when you are sure you will not need to recover or analyze it.
After every critical action, reload the list and check that the status and group are correct.
Active
The page is publicly reachable and can receive visits.
Inactive
The page should not be used as a public destination. It is useful for preparation or archiving.
Duplicate
It copies settings and structure, but it does not replace a manual review of URLs, texts, and safety.
Checklist
Groups have operational names.
Notes are updated.
Handle is checked after duplication.
Status matches publication.
Deletion is used only as a last choice.
Result
The list stays organized even with many pages and you reduce mistakes on active campaigns.
Domains
Custom domain and DNS
Connect your own domain, wait for propagation, and assign the right page without changing the deeplink structure.
Domain12 min
Connect a custom domain
The custom domain replaces the standard GetMyPage link at the public entry point, while the page remains managed from the dashboard.
Steps
Open Domains and add the naked domain, for example domain.com. Do not enter paths or URLs of specific pages.
Choose the correct provider in the guide. If your provider is not listed, use the generic instructions.
Copy the displayed nameservers and paste them into the domain provider panel.
Do not use mixed configurations with old nameservers, half-left records, or external proxies not covered by the guide.
Wait for propagation. During this phase the status may remain under verification even if you have just saved everything correctly.
When the domain is ready, connect the page that should open from that domain and test from an external browser.
Cloudflare
The current guided procedure does not support Cloudflare as a standard flow: if you use it, follow only compatible instructions or ask support.
Page assignment
Active DNS and a connected page are two different things: the domain must know where to point and GetMyPage must know which deeplink to open.
Checklist
Domain without a path.
Correct provider.
All nameservers copied.
Propagation waited out without removing the domain.
Page connected after ready status.
Result
The domain opens the chosen page and you can manage it from the dashboard without changing internal links.
DNS10 min
Fix a domain that is not active
When a domain stays under verification, the problem is almost always in the provider, the nameservers, or the final connection to the page.
Steps
Compare the nameservers in the provider with the ones shown in the dashboard. All of them must match.
Check that you have not added records or proxies that contradict the guided procedure.
Wait for propagation before removing and adding the domain again: doing it often makes the problem last longer.
Verify that the connected page exists, is active, and has not reached plan limits.
Try the domain without cache, from an incognito window or a different network.
If you open a support request, include the domain, provider, nameserver screenshots, and the time of the last change.
DNS verification
The status depends on what is publicly visible in DNS, not only on what you saved in the provider.
Inactive page
A domain can be technically ready but not open as expected if the associated page is inactive or invalid.
Checklist
Correct nameservers.
Right provider.
No unexpected proxy.
Active page.
Screenshots ready for support.
Result
You understand whether to wait, fix DNS, or adjust the page connection.
Analytics
Measure traffic and campaigns
Analytics help you decide what to improve: channel, page, button order, or traffic quality.
Analytics13 min
Read the analytics dashboard
Do not look at a single metric. Visits, uniques, clicks, CTR, sources, and bots must be read together.
Steps
Choose page and interval. Use 7 days for quick signals, 30 days for more stable trends, and a custom interval for campaigns.
Start from visits and unique visitors. If visits are high but uniques are low, there may be repeated traffic or automatic checks.
Look at clicks and CTR. CTR explains better than visits alone whether the landing page is actually convincing.
Check social source, browser, and device: they show where the flow works and where it needs retesting.
Read countries and bots together. A spike from unexpected countries or crawlers can change how you interpret traffic.
Compare before and after an important change, not during the same minute after saving.
Low CTR
Review the first button, the bio promise, link order, and consistency between the social channel and the landing content.
Many visits without clicks
It may be curious traffic, social previews, bots, or an unclear landing page. Compare sources and devices.
Bot data
They help you avoid overvaluing automatic openings and scans.
Checklist
Correct period.
Correct page.
CTR read together with clicks.
Social sources checked.
Bots and countries considered.
Result
You know what to improve: traffic, content, buttons, or settings.
Campaigns9 min
Use tracking links
Tracking links separate campaigns without always duplicating the landing page. They are essential when you publish the same deeplink in multiple places.
Steps
Create a tracking link for each channel or campaign: Instagram bio, story, Telegram, X, ads, newsletter.
Give it a name that describes source and period, so you still understand it weeks later.
Use that tracking link only in the intended channel. If you copy it everywhere, you lose the comparison.
During the campaign, look at clicks and CTR by tracking link, not only at the page's total traffic.
At the end of the campaign, rename, archive, or note the result before reusing the channel.
If you need to change the landing page, note the date: data before and after are no longer directly equivalent.
Clean comparison
One tracking link per channel makes it clear which publication brings useful clicks.
Common mistake
Using the same tracking link in multiple channels and then wondering which one converted.
Checklist
Clear tracking name.
One channel per tracking link.
Period noted.
CTR compared across channels.
Landing changes noted.
Result
You know which publication brings results and which only generates openings.
Interpretation10 min
Understand traffic quality
Quality is not the same as the highest number. What matters is the relationship between source, clicks, device, country, and behavior over time.
Steps
Segment by social channel: one channel may bring many visits but few clicks, another fewer visits but a more interested audience.
Check device and browser. If a social app has a lower CTR, test the link inside that app.
Look at countries and times. Off-target traffic may indicate unexpected shares or bots.
Evaluate bots and social previews especially in the first minutes after publishing.
Measure after single changes: change one element at a time if you want to understand what improved the CTR.
Use campaign notes to connect data and decisions.
Good traffic
It comes from the expected channel, opens on compatible devices, and generates clicks proportional to visits.
Noisy traffic
Many openings, few clicks, strange sources, or sudden spikes should be read with caution.
Checklist
Source on target.
Device consistent with the audience.
Clicks present, not only visits.
Spikes explainable.
A/B tests made with controlled changes.
Result
You optimize the page using real signals, not flashy numbers with little value.
Account and support
Profile, plan, billing, and support
Manage account security, plan limits, and support requests with the right information.
Profile11 min
Manage profile, email, and password
Profile contains personal data and security. Some changes are subject to a cooldown to protect the account.
Steps
Check that the email is verified. Without verification, some actions on deeplinks, domains, and analytics may be limited.
Change first name, last name, username or email only when you are sure: the dashboard may apply a 24-hour cooldown.
To change password, use a strong combination: at least 8 characters with uppercase, lowercase, number, and symbol.
After a critical change, sign in again and check that the data has been saved correctly.
If you do not receive a verification email or code, check spam and the entered address before opening support.
Do not share screenshots with tokens, codes, or sessions. Support only needs description and context.
Cooldown
It reduces impulsive changes or account abuse. Plan email or username changes before important campaigns.
Password
If you use the same password elsewhere, change it on the other services too.
Checklist
Email verified.
Data correct before campaign.
Strong password.
Cooldown considered.
No code shared in screenshots.
Result
The account is ready and does not block publishing, domains, or analytics.
Plan12 min
Understand plans, limits, and billing
The plan determines the number of active pages and access to advanced features. Check it before building a complex structure.
Steps
Open Plan and read the current plan, page limit, and included features.
Remember the base behavior: Starter and Creator have a limit of one active page; Agency and Custom use dedicated numeric limits.
If you use premium features such as Real-Safe Link, GeoFilter, external analytics, or advanced options, verify plan compatibility.
To switch to Creator or Agency, choose monthly or annual billing and, for Agency, the number of links and domains, then start checkout from the dashboard.
For needs beyond the available tiers, select Custom and send a detailed request.
In the Paddle checkout, review the price, billing frequency, any trial, and renewal; after purchase, use the customer portal to manage billing.
Limits
If you exceed the limit, some pages may not be activatable or may be deactivated according to the plan rules.
Custom
It is designed for specific operational needs: many pages, multiple domains, campaigns, or special requirements.
Checklist
Page limit read.
Advanced features verified.
Billing managed from the correct area.
Detailed custom request.
Plan checked before activating campaigns.
Result
You know whether a feature is blocked by the plan, an unverified email, or page configuration.
Account8 min
Delete an account without surprises
Account deletion is a critical procedure: first check pages, domains, plan, and confirmation codes.
Steps
Open Profile and carefully read the deletion modal.
Check active pages, connected domains, tracking, and plan before confirming.
If an email code is required, request it and enter it without sharing it with anyone.
If you have an active subscription or plan, verify the instructions shown by the dashboard and the connected portal.
Download or note what you need before confirmation, because after deletion you may not be able to recover data and configurations.
Confirm only when you are sure of the impact on public pages and domains.
First question
Do you want to delete everything or only deactivate pages and domains? Deactivation is often enough.
Code
The email code confirms that the action is intended by the account owner.
Checklist
Pages checked.
Domains checked.
Plan checked.
Code not shared.
Consequences read.
Result
You do not delete accounts, pages, or domains without understanding the operational effect.
Support7 min
Open a useful support request
A clear ticket speeds up the answer. Support must understand what you were doing, on which page, and with which result.
Steps
Describe goal and result: what you wanted to do and what happened instead.
Indicate the dashboard area, page name, handle, domain, or tracking link involved.
Add device, browser, social app, and test time.
Attach a screenshot if it shows the error, but hide codes, tokens, sessions, or sensitive data.
Write the steps already tried: incognito window, different network, DNS wait, verified email, plan checked.
Send from the Contact us section or use the channels indicated in the footer when appropriate.
Good ticket
It contains enough context to reproduce the issue without immediately asking you for more information.
Weak ticket
It only says it does not work, without page, domain, screenshot, or steps.
Checklist
Page or domain indicated.
Error reported.
Device and browser written.
Screenshot cleaned of secrets.
Steps already tried.
Result
Support can quickly understand whether the problem is account, plan, DNS, editor, social app, or analytics.
API Keys and Team
Automation and collaboration
Configure integrations and collaborators without sharing credentials, while keeping permissions, resources, and plan limits separate.
API Key12 min
Create and use an API Key securely
Each key should have a recognizable name, a useful expiry, and only the permissions required by the integration.
Steps
Open API Key from the Agency dashboard, select Create, and use a label that identifies the service, client, or environment.
Select only the required permissions. An analytics reader does not need page or domain creation, editing, or deletion.
Set an expiry when access is not permanent. A temporary key reduces the impact of possible exposure.
Copy the full value immediately because it is shown only once. Store it in a secret manager, never in frontend code, screenshots, or repositories.
Send the key in the Authorization header as a Bearer token and test read endpoints before enabling write operations.
Review last use, status, and permissions in the list. Revoke an unused or suspicious key immediately and create a replacement.
Plan limits
The API enforces the same limits and checks as the dashboard. A downgrade may disable keys without deleting their configuration.
Critical operations
Creation, editing, and deletion require the matching scope; a key cannot expand the owner’s privileges.
Common mistake
Never place the key in public JavaScript, a mobile app without a backend, URLs, query strings, or application logs.
Checklist
Recognizable label.
Minimum permissions.
Expiry considered.
Secret kept outside the frontend.
Revocation procedure ready.
Avoid
One key shared by several services.
Write permissions granted for convenience.
Keys pasted into tickets, chats, or screenshots.
Result
The integration can access only what you authorized, and the key remains revocable without changing the account password.
Team13 min
Invite collaborators and assign roles
The owner keeps control of the plan and invites each person with a personal account, role, and limited access.
Steps
Open Team and select Invite. Enter the collaborator’s account email instead of sharing the owner’s credentials.
Choose a preset role as a starting point or Custom. Manually changing a permission automatically makes the role custom.
Assign only the required actions: analytics reading, page management, organization, creation or deletion, domain management, and Team management.
Grant all pages or domains, or only selected resources. Live search helps locate the correct items in larger accounts.
After accepting, the collaborator enters through the Workspace selector. Unauthorized functions remain visible but disabled with an explanatory tooltip.
Regularly review members, pending invitations, and last access. Change permissions or remove a member as soon as their responsibilities change.
Owner
The owner remains responsible for the plan, member limit, and granted permissions. The owner does not count as an additional member.
Selected resources
A collaborator sees only assigned pages and domains; creating one resource does not grant access to the rest of the account.
Downgrade
If the plan loses Team access, workspaces and members are suspended without immediately deleting configuration and assignments.
Checklist
Correct email.
Role reviewed.
Minimum permissions.
Pages and domains assigned.
Invitations and members reviewed regularly.
Avoid
Sharing the owner’s password or session.
Granting deletion to someone who only needs editing.
Leaving access active after the collaboration ends.
Result
Each collaborator works in the workspace with their own account and can act only on assigned features and resources.
Social security
Bots, Real-Safe Link, and deeplink systems
These chapters explain what happens when the link passes through social platforms, crawlers, webviews, and sensitive destinations. The guide stays complete for use without publishing details that could help bypass the controls.
Anti-bot10 min
Why social platforms open the link before users
When you paste a link into a social platform, the first opener is often not a person: it is an automated system that prepares previews, checks, and scans.
Steps
Social platforms read the link to create previews, verify content, and decide how to show it inside their apps.
These openings can arrive before real clicks and can look like visits if they are not filtered correctly.
GetMyPage evaluates technical request signals such as network context, browser, webview, headers, and behavior to separate visitors from automation.
When Real-Safe Link is enabled, supported crawlers may receive non-public responses; when it is disabled, the page does not apply that global handling.
Statistics separate useful traffic, social sources, and bots as much as possible, so numbers should not be read naively.
Do not use the first accesses after sharing as proof of conversion: wait for real clicks and coherent trends.
What the creator sees
You may notice openings without clicks right after sharing the link. This is normal when platforms prepare previews.
What not to do
Do not change URLs or settings every time you see a suspicious visit. Also check social source, browser, country, device, and clicks.
Why we do not publish signatures
The exact anti-bot rules are part of the service security. The guides explain how to use them, not how to bypass them.
Checklist
Share the link only when it is ready.
Wait for real data before judging the campaign.
Compare visits with clicks and CTR.
Use tracking links to distinguish channels.
Open a support request if a social platform always blocks a specific flow.
Result
You know why automatic openings appear and how to read the data without confusing them with real users.
Real-Safe Link11 min
When to enable Real-Safe Link
Real-Safe Link protects the passage toward sensitive or more delicate destinations. It is useful when the redirect needs more control than a normal direct click.
Steps
Enable it when the page and its sensitive destinations should not be read or opened by supported crawlers.
When it is disabled, its global rules do not apply; only individual links marked Force Safe remain protected.
After enabling it, test the full path: page, click, security passage, final destination.
If one button is more delicate than the others, use force safe on that button instead of treating the whole landing page the same way.
Real-Safe Link and Deeplinks Tech are independent: the former protects sensitive flows, while the latter manages opening inside apps and in-app browsers.
Do not measure success only by visits: check actual clicks and behavior on the protected button.
If a visitor reports blocks, collect origin social platform, device, browser, and test time.
What it does in practice
It protects the passage toward sensitive destinations and makes the response intended for supported crawlers non-public.
Force Safe
It keeps the individual link protected even when Real-Safe Link is disabled for the rest of the page.
What it does not do
It does not fix wrong destinations, incoherent content, or unreachable external links.
Plan limits
If the feature is not available or gets disabled, check the plan in the dashboard.
Checklist
Valid final destination.
Sensitive button identified.
Force safe used only where needed.
Real-Safe Link and Deeplinks Tech configured separately.
Test on iOS and Android if traffic comes from social apps.
Data read on clicks, not only on openings.
Result
The sensitive redirect is more protected and the behavior remains verifiable by the creator.
Deeplinks Tech10 min
What Deeplinks Tech is for
Deeplinks Tech adapts the opening based on context: social apps, webviews, operating system, browser, and traffic source can behave differently.
Steps
Social apps do not always open links like a normal browser: they often use internal webviews with their own limits.
Deeplinks Tech helps manage these differences to keep the path as stable as possible.
The system considers source platform, device, browser, and request context.
It is especially useful when you publish on Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, or X.
After enabling it, test the link in the real channel where you will use it, not only by copying the URL into a browser.
If an app updates its internal browser, repeat the tests before attributing the problem to the page.
Correct use
Enable it when traffic mainly comes from social apps and you want to reduce inconsistent behavior across platforms.
Testing
A desktop test does not replace a mobile social app test. They are different environments.
Checklist
Main channel identified.
Test from real app.
Test from normal browser.
No random changes during an active campaign.
Support contacted with exact device and social platform if needed.
Result
The link behaves better in social contexts where internal browsers are less predictable.
Filters9 min
Force Safe and GeoFilter
Force Safe acts on the single link or flow; GeoFilter acts on traffic based on country. They are different tools and should be used for different reasons.
Steps
Use Force Safe when a specific destination requires the protected path even if the rest of the page can remain normal.
Use GeoFilter when you need to allow or block countries for operational, legal, commercial, or anti-abuse reasons.
Do not use GeoFilter to fix a broken link: if the URL is wrong, the filter will not correct it.
After changing countries or filter mode, test from a condition consistent with the real audience.
If you are measuring international campaigns, note the active filters before interpreting country data.
Keep an internal note about the reason for the filter, so you do not forget it active months later.
Force Safe
Protects the click toward a destination, useful for delicate buttons inside a broader landing page.
GeoFilter
Filters traffic by country. It can change numbers and conversions, so it must be considered in statistics.
Checklist
Filter reason written in notes.
Countries checked twice.
Test after saving.
Statistics read knowing that the filter is active.
Support contacted if an expected country remains excluded.
Result
You apply targeted protections without confusing single-click security with geographic filtering.
External tracking8 min
Google Analytics and Meta Pixel
External integrations are useful when you want to read data outside GetMyPage too. They should be configured with correct IDs and realistic expectations.
Steps
Enable Google Analytics only if you have a valid ID and an account where you will actually read the data.
Enable Meta Pixel when you need to connect measurement and Meta campaigns.
Check the plan: some integrations may be unavailable or may make the page incompatible with Starter or Creator limits.
Do not expect identical numbers between GetMyPage and external tools: filters, consent, browsers, and privacy blockers can change counts.
After entering an ID, open the page and check after some time whether events arrive in the external panel.
If you remove tracking, save and retest to avoid leaving empty but active configurations.
Data differences
GetMyPage measures the internal flow; external platforms also depend on cookies, consent, browsers, and user blockers.
Cleanup
A wrong ID does not improve measurement: it only creates noise or no data.
Checklist
Correct GA4 ID.
Correct Meta Pixel ID.
Compatible plan.
Test after saving.
Data compared across periods, not single visits.
Result
External measurement complements GetMyPage without replacing its operational statistics.
Link Scanner8 min
Analyze a link with Link Scanner
Compare what a real visitor receives with the response sent to the selected crawler, without changing the link.
Steps
Open Link Scanner from the homepage or the dashboard Tools section and enter a public HTTP or HTTPS URL.
Choose the crawler to simulate. Instagram is selected first; social, messaging, and search-engine crawlers are also available.
Start the scan and wait for the visitor/crawler comparison. The check follows redirects, metadata, destinations, headers, technical cookies, and security signals.
Read completeness and score first, then open each check. An unavailable item scores zero and is kept separate from a failure.
Open the technical comparison when you need to understand which final URLs, destinations, or content differ between the two views.
Use history to repeat or compare two scans. On the public page it stays on the device; in the dashboard it is saved to your personal account.
Inside a Team workspace the scanner does not become shared: history and reports always remain personal to the authenticated user.
Read-only
The scan only makes read requests and does not change content, DNS, settings, or destinations.
Account history
The dashboard stores structured reports so they can be reopened. The screenshot is not kept in persistent history.
Security limits
Private networks, URL credentials, arbitrary ports, and invalid redirects are blocked.
Checklist
Public, complete URL.
Crawler matching the channel to verify.
Score read together with completeness.
Visitor/crawler differences checked.
Historical comparison run after major changes.
Result
You know what the visitor and crawler actually receive and can verify over time whether a change improved the link behavior.
MCP and AI assistants
Manage GetMyPage from chat
Connection, permissions, available tools, media uploads, and troubleshooting for ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude.
Connection9 min
Connect ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude
The official plugin for ChatGPT and Codex and the remote server for Claude use OAuth and connect the assistant to the workspace selected during authorization.
Steps
Check that the workspace owner has an active Agency or Custom plan. GetMyPage administrators can connect with no plan limit.
In ChatGPT or Codex, open Plugins, search for GetMyPage, open its details, and select the plus button to install it.
When prompted, connect your GetMyPage account, select the workspace, and review the permission summary. Start a new chat after installation.
In Claude, add a custom MCP connector; in Claude Code, add an HTTP server. Use exactly https://mcp.getmy.page, without adding /mcp, and complete GetMyPage sign-in.
Return to the AI client and verify that the connection is active. Ask it to read the workspace or list pages as a first test.
Each user connects their own ChatGPT, Codex, or Claude account: GetMyPage does not require shared OpenAI or Anthropic accounts.
ChatGPT and Codex
They use the same public plugin catalog: you do not need to create a custom connector or paste the endpoint manually.
Workspace
The connection remains bound to the selected workspace. Create another connection, or revoke and reconnect, to use a different one.
Claude
Claude preferentially uses CIMD and can use DCR for compatibility. Do not enter a client ID or client secret manually for the custom connector.
Availability
MCP is available on Agency and Custom plans; team members also need MCP permission in their role.
Checklist
GetMyPage plugin installed and enabled in ChatGPT or Codex, or exact endpoint configured in Claude.
GetMyPage account is verified.
Correct workspace selected.
Connection visible on the MCP page.
First workspace read completed.
Avoid
Adding GetMyPage as a custom MCP connector in ChatGPT or Codex.
Using https://mcp.getmy.page/mcp in Claude.
Entering manual OAuth credentials in Claude.
Sharing one connection between different people.
Result
The assistant sees only the tools allowed in the selected workspace and is ready to operate.
Control10 min
Understand tools, permissions, and operations
MCP can control the entire workspace, but each tool is exposed only when the connected account has the corresponding permission.
Steps
Use workspace_get so the assistant can read the effective role, resources, and capabilities of the connection.
Owners can manage pages, groups, domains, DNS setup, analytics, API keys, teams, and MCP connections.
For a team member, configure ordinary scopes, MCP scopes, and access to all or selected pages and domains in the role.
Destructive operations can be run directly by the assistant when the AI client and GetMyPage permissions allow them.
API key secrets are shown only once when created or rotated: ask the assistant to store them only in the intended destination.
Review Activity on the MCP page to identify recent authorizations, changes, and revocations.
Full control
Tools cover creating, reading, editing, ordering, duplicating, and deleting resources, as well as analytics and team administration.
Dynamic permissions
When a role or resource assignment changes, the next call applies the new limit without requiring a new authorization.
Output
Every tool publishes an output schema and returns validated structured content, so clients do not need to extract data from free text.
Chat pages and conversations
Create pages with type chat and configure the persona, style, behavior, avatar, photo archive, and destination. Use page_convert_to_chat, page_convert_to_landing, and page_convert_to_direct to change modes while retaining previous configuration. The chat_* tools read history, send moderated messages, mark read receipts, control the bot, and delete conversations or individual bot/operator messages. Use chat_analytics_get for Chat metrics.
AI design and credits
ai_credits_get returns the workspace balance; ai_credits_history is restricted to the owner. page_design_generate uses one available credit for an unpublished landing design proposal; apply it with page_update or page_create. Failed generations release the reservation; do not repeat a successful generation. MCP does not offer purchases or top-ups.
Link Scanner
link_scan analyzes a public URL and saves its result in the connected caller personal history. History tools read or delete saved scans without scanning again. Personal scan history stays separate from the team workspace.
New feature permissions
Chat actions require both ordinary pages:chat:* permissions and matching MCP permissions, plus access to the page. Design generation requires pages:ai:use, mcp:pages:ai:use, and permission to create or edit the page. AI balance and Link Scanner have dedicated MCP permissions.
Checklist
Member role is correct.
Ordinary and MCP scopes are aligned.
Pages and domains are assigned.
Destructive operations are configured in the client to your preference.
Activity reviewed after critical changes.
Result
The assistant gets the maximum control allowed to the account without crossing workspace or role boundaries.
Media8 min
Upload images and videos from chat
When the AI client forwards an attachment to the tool, GetMyPage imports it directly and returns a page-ready reference.
Steps
Attach the image or video and state where to use it, such as avatar, banner, background, gallery, or button media.
If the client supports MCP file inputs, the assistant calls page_media_upload with the attachment and GetMyPage downloads it from the temporary signed link.
For a file already available at a public HTTPS URL, the assistant uses the separate page_media_import_url tool.
GetMyPage validates the actual content, limits files to 25 MB, and normalizes supported videos to MP4.
The tool returns tmpSession and mediaReference; the assistant immediately includes them in page_create or page_update.
Only if the client cannot forward a file to the tool, the assistant automatically creates a 15-minute one-time link and shows it without waiting for you to ask.
ChatGPT
Compatible attachments are passed directly through the MCP file parameter: the media does not need to be public and no external page is required.
Other clients
Claude, Codex, or other hosts can upload directly when they provide a downloadable file URL to the tool. Otherwise the one-time link remains available.
Security
GetMyPage rejects local or private addresses, checks the real file type, and binds the temporary slot to the authorized workspace.
Checklist
Media destination clearly stated.
File is under 25 MB.
Supported image or video format.
tmpSession reused in the final edit.
Page checked after saving.
Result
The media sent in chat is uploaded and applied directly when supported by the client, with an automatic fallback elsewhere.
Support8 min
Troubleshoot connections and revoke access
The MCP page shows connections and activity; a clean reconnection resolves expired tokens or inconsistent grants.
Steps
If ChatGPT or Codex cannot see GetMyPage, check that the plugin is installed and enabled, then start a new chat.
If Claude cannot find the server, verify that the URL is exactly https://mcp.getmy.page and does not redirect to another domain.
If OAuth does not start in Claude, remove any manually entered client ID or secret and add the connector again as a custom remote server.
If GetMyPage confirms authorization but Claude shows an error, remove the connector from Claude, revoke the connection on the MCP dashboard, and create a fresh connection.
Check the active plan, email verification, team status, and the selected member's MCP permissions.
If Claude shows a reference beginning with ofid_, keep it so Anthropic support can trace the failure after token issuance.
To stop access immediately, use Revoke on the MCP page. Access and refresh tokens for that connection are invalidated together.
Claude
GetMyPage publishes OAuth 2.1, PKCE S256, CIMD, DCR, token refresh, and protected metadata compatible with hosted Claude connectors.
Diagnosis
A connection present in GetMyPage but never used means OAuth completed, but the client did not send the first MCP request with the received token.
Revocation
The owner can see and revoke all workspace connections; a member can see and revoke only their own.
Checklist
OpenAI plugin installed and enabled or exact Claude URL.
No manual credentials in Claude.
Valid plan and verified email.
Old connection revoked before retesting.
ofid_ reference saved if the error continues.
Result
You can distinguish a GetMyPage authorization problem from a client-side stop and revoke any access without external intervention.
